Your clients may be unaware of an additional immediate benefit to taking out our critical illness cover. From the day the policy starts both your clients and their families will have access to Scottish Widows Care provided in partnership with RedArc. This Personal Nurse Adviser service offers practical advice and emotional support, and is something we provide at no extra cost.

The support offered includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Access to remedial therapies
  • Holistic support to help your clients cope better with serious illness, bereavement or other medical or emotional crisis
  • Counselling, therapies and practical advice
  • Continuity with the same one-to-one Personal Nurse Adviser
  • Access to a UK-based second medical opinion.

And for business protection, RedArc can:

  • Work with firms to offer support to co-workers in the event of a bereavement
  • Advise businesses on how to support employees who choose to work through treatment for ill health
  • Help a person return to work following their recovery from illness.
